Neill Anne and Butch

Karen and I photographed a very lovely wedding this past weekend. It was at the Holy Trinity Church located in downtown Greensboro. The locations in and around the church are very beautiful and well lit. Julie, the mother of the bride did the planning and I must say did a fantastic job. The reception was at the O'Henry Hotel. The band that played at the reception was called Sweet Dreams. I really enjoyed their music. They played a variety of songs but I especially liked their renditions of Barry White's music. I always like to get a little taste of the wedding cake especially when they are made by Manfred Schmidt. We enjoyed our time with Neill Anne and Butch and wish them the very best.

Keagan and John

Every so often someone will ask "what makes a wedding extraordinarily beautiful"?. My opinion is....the bride, the dress, and the location. The location is important because it tells a lot about the bride. The dress also tells a lot about the bride and it should always blend with the location. The bride sets the mood for the wedding day. If she is calm, poised, and under control then so is the wedding day.

John and Keagan's wedding was extraordinarily beautiful. The location at Childress Vineyards was perfect. The dress she chose from J.Majors could not have been a better choice. Keagan was the epitome of elegance.
